A meditation on Psalm 145
Yahweh is great, his greatness is without limit or end (v3).
Yahweh is himself righteous (v7) and righteous in all his ways (v17).
He is faithful to all his promises (v13).
Yahweh is mighty (v11) and performs mighty acts (v4), great deeds (v6), wonderful, powerful and awesome works (v6, 8).
His kingdom is one of glorious splendour (v12). It is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is eternal (v13).
His majesty is one of glorious splendour (v5).
He is abundant in his goodness to all (v7, 9).
He is rich in love (v8), showing love and compassion to all he has made (v 9, 13, 17).
He provides food at the proper time to all depending on him (v15); he opens his hand and satisfies the desires of every living thing (v16, 19).
He is gracious (v8).
He watches over all who love him (v20).
He is near to all who call on him in truth (v18) ; he hears their cry and saves them (v19).
He upholds those who fall, and lifts up those who are bowed down (v14).
But he will destroy all the wicked (v20).
